INmill Symposium: Unlocking Full Potential with Tailored Solutions

Hosting the symposium at the Square Group, Bangladesh, demonstrates Rieter’s commitment to their success.

Rieter after sales launched the INmill symposium, a customer-centric event designed to bridge the gap between Rieter product developers and customers. Here is how one Rieter INmill symposium helped Square Group in Bangladesh break down barriers to competitiveness and achieve success.

The family-owned Square Group, based in Bangladesh, was facing serious obstacles to its competitiveness in the form of high energy costs and the quality of its draw frame sliver. Rieter's after-sales team proposed to conduct an on-site symposium to take an in-depth look at the challenges faced by its customer and to present a range of solutions to address them.

Tailored solutions for customer success

INmill Symposia are gatherings of Rieter product managers, service engineers and sales representatives at customer sites to present the latest innovations in Rieter's product portfolio. This hands-on, interactive approach allows spinning mill personnel to experience first-hand the value proposition of new products, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation. Rieter introduced symposia in June 2024 in Bangladesh and has held three such events to date. Based on customer feedback, Rieter provides short- and medium-term solutions. The necessary support is provided to the customer until the solutions are implemented and the desired results are achieved.

By showcasing the latest technological innovations and solutions, the event helps spinning mills understand the tangible benefits these products can bring to their operations. Whether through detailed presentations, live demonstrations or interactive workshops, attendees leave with a clear understanding of how Rieter's offerings can improve their business. By focusing on customer-specific solutions, including upgrades, automation, productivity enhancements and energy savings, Rieter provides real value, reinforcing the benefits of an ongoing partnership.

Square Group saves energy with ECOrized suction tubes

For Square Group, Rieter proposed ECOrized suction tubes for their compact-spinning machines K 42. Due to the optimized design of the suction tubes and inverter control, Rieter’s customer saves energy by approximately 10%. The solution not only results in significant cost reductions thanks to the energy savings, but it is also attractive for its low capital expenses. To improve draw frame sliver quality, Rieter offered a range of solutions including the maintenance mini kit, upgrades and preventive maintenance solutions featuring the following benefits:

  • Mini kit: Replacing technology and wear parts such as belts, gas pressure spring or top roller cots after one to three years helps remain sliver quality constantly high.
  • Upgrades: New SERVOdrive motor, top rollers and detachable clearer lips boost machine performance while reducing maintenance cost.
  • Preventive maintenance: Regular preventive maintenance for electronical components supports in improving machine efficiency and extending machine lifetime.
The Rieter After Sales symposium was an invaluable opportunity to share our pain areas with a team of experts and discuss the Rieter After Sales Solutions. Events like this help build lasting relationships. We gained invaluable insights from the symposium and will implement these new solutions.Atiqul Islam, Senior Manager Technical Service Department at Square Group
