Algodonera del Valle and Rieter have signed an order for a complete spinning system with 20 fully electronic ring spinning machines G 38, as well as the latest digitization and automation solutions for the production of combed ring yarn. The new mill is located in the northern province Catamarca and meets the highest quality standards of soft yarn for Del Valle’s knitting and finishing plant in Patagonia.

The family-owned company was founded in 1986 and since then has developed a close customer relationship with Rieter. With the new Rieter spinning system Del Valle benefits from the best performance on the market with lowest manufacturing costs in terms of raw material utilization, energy saving and production per square meter.

Automation and Digitization for Highest Quality and Efficiency

The spinning process in the new mill is automated at each process step. The fully automated combing set, the roving bobbin transport system SERVOtrail and the piecing robot ROBOspin on the ring spinning machines reduce manual work significantly and ensure outstanding yarn quality. The direct link between the ring spinning machine and the winding machine Autoconer X6 with direct cop feed and automated material flow is another highlight. With its holistic view from bale to package, the mill management system ESSENTIAL connects the dots in Del Valle’s new spinning mill by optimizing processes and eliminating inefficiencies across the entire system.
