Rieter Rotor Spinning System: The Sustainable Choice for Premium Recycled Yarns

Rieter rotor spinning machines R 37 at Surya Spinners, India

The Rieter rotor recycling solution, equipped with advanced technology, enables Surya to enhance production efficiency, improve yarn quality, and reduce energy consumption. This strengthens their eco-friendly production process.

Surya Spinners, a leading recycled yarn manufacturer in South India, produces a wide range of recycled rotor yarns from pre- and post-consumer waste. The Rieter rotor recycling system helps Surya ensure consistent blend quality, reduce manual mixing errors, and maintain flexibility in handling various blend ratios.

The system at Surya includes the blowroom line VARIOline with the precision blender UNIblend A 81, cards C 77, draw frames RSB-D 50, and rotor spinning machines R 37. The UNIblend A 81 ensures precise blending with perfect homogeneity and significant manpower reduction, thereby enhancing operational comfort. The card C 77 with a delivery speed of up to 150 kg/h improved productivity by 88% while reducing energy consumption by 27%. The Rieter fiber preparation line delivers consistent sliver quality across various recycled raw materials and has been a game changer resulting in improved efficiency of the semi-automated rotor spinning R 37 machines with yarn imperfections reduced by more than 23%.

Find out in the video how the Rieter rotor recycling system helps Surya Spinners to consolidate its position as a major player in the South Indian recycled yarn manufacturing sector.
