On April 6, 2017, Rieter will open a service branch in Kahramanmaraş, to support its customers in the south east of Turkey, together with the long-standing sales agent Erbel A.S., based in Istanbul and Adana, Turkey, with an even faster and better service. Turkey is one of the key markets for textiles worldwide and Kahramanmaraş is at the heart of the textile industry in Turkey. More than 60% of the installed base of Rieter machines in Turkey is located within a radius of around 200 kilometers. The name of the new service branch is Rieter Ltd. Kahramanmaraş, which is a subsidiary of Rieter Textile Machinery Trading & Services Ltd., Istanbul, Turkey.
Rieter is the world’s leading supplier of systems for short-staple fiber spinning. The company based in Winterthur, Switzerland, maintains a global sales and service organization. Service employees with a high level of expertise are available there and offer a competitive advantage to local customers through excellent customer service. The new service branch in Kahramanmaraş ideally complements Rieter’s strong presence in Turkey and provides state-of-the-art solutions and dedicated support to local customers.
The portfolio in Kahramanmaraş comprises both mechanical and electronic services. These include the revision of gear units, servomotor adjustments, as well as repairs and upgrades using original parts.
The service branch in Kahramanmaraş also has a spare parts warehouse, where the most important and critical spare parts are available. These include, for example, control units, sensors and drive systems. This enables fast replacement and therefore minimum production downtime – for the benefit of customers, which can access these at short notice, especially in emergencies.
In addition to original spare parts, Rieter also offers after-sales service products such as mill assessments to its customers worldwide. Other features include comprehensive after-sales solutions across all processes. This enables customers to increase their competitiveness over the long term. The product range is rounded off by installation and repair services, technology consulting and training.
